| Is it just me or does it seem like the weeks keep going by slower and slower and it feels like Friday is forever away? I dunno why it always happens that way, but I definately don't like it! Oh well, I'll get over it.
So last night I went to my favorite restaurant ever, Olive Garden, with Quinn and Tiffanie. I ordered a drink and oh yea, I got carded!!! WOOHOO! It's about time, since when I was with my parents over the weekend, they didn't card me. But anyway, I got this really yummy, fruity, mixed drink and it was really good! Then we came back here and got a little studying/hw done, but then Quinn and Tiffanie started eating the giant-sized Pixy Stix. It was all downhill from there, LOL! Oh, and then the Backstreet Boys started playing. I almost fell outta my chair laughing so hard at Quinn and Tiffanie dancing to the song (the exact same way they did in their videos!) HAHA!
I don't know why, but I really don't feel as busy as I was last semester. I'm still taking difficult classes, but maybe it's cuz I really haven't started studying anything hard core yet. But I'm definately gonna rock out Organic this semester. We've had 4 quizzes so far and I've done OK and really bad on one, but I've decided I'm gonna turn that all around. I'm looking for an A, so everybody cross your fingers for me!
The new Kenny Chesney cd comes out today and I'm bummed cuz I can't go get it. Guess I'll just have to wait till this weekend at some point. His concert this summer was awesome...I think everyone should go see him at least once!
Well, that's about all for now....gotta get studying on that Organic. Catcha Later!
| I can't believe it....I'm 21!!!! I never thought the day would come, LOL! I definately had a great weekend thanks to a lot of people. Friday afternoon started out with a little scare from Quinn when she had to go to the hospital. But she's doing A-OK now! Then Friday night was when all the fun started...around 7pm. Thanks to Daniel, we had a great place to party and I had an awesome time! Special thanks to everyone who came to help me celebrate my big day....Sasha, Steven, Clayton, Sam, Andrew, Jimmy, Tracy, Laurie, Ansley, Megan, Jennings, Sarah, Kat, Katie, and Jess (and friends, LOL), and Adrienne!!!!!
Then yesterday (my real bday) the family came down. We went out to lunch and then had a very nice dinner. Only bad thing was...I ordered a strawberry daqueri and they were outta the mix. So I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea, but they were outta that too. Then I ordered a Wine Cooler thinking every bar has got to serve those...strike 3! So then the waitress suggested an Apple Martini....and it was good! Especially with caramel all around the edges! Then it was presents time!!!! And let me tell ya, I got some fabulous ones!
All in all my 21st was great! I had an awesome time with my friends and I had a very nice time with my family as well. So whenever anyone wants to go out for a drink.....better give me a call!!!
| Well Christmas and New Years has come and gone and now it's back to Chucktown tomorrow....and I can't wait! I miss all my girls, a certain someone, and of course all the other awesome Navy boys too!!! I can definately say that I worked my butt off this break-8 to 9 hour days and getting only 4 days off the whole three and a half weeks I was home...that's what I call rough! LOL! I'm definately not looking forward to starting classes on Wed, but the sooner they start, the sooner they'll be over. I've decided there's a couple things that I definately miss about being at home (besides the family and good home cooking)...water pressure and my big bed!
Looks like it's getting to be about that time....g'nite!
| Well, this has definately been a crazy, confusing, and stressful week (if you know what I'm talking about). But luckily, everything is ok! I'm just definately ready for tomorrow to get here cuz it'll finally be FRIDAY! And then I get to see the sweetest, most wonderful boyfriend Finals start next Wed. and I'm definately not looking forward to that week at all....but then it'll all be over for a whole month. I really can't believe that I'll be in my second semester as a Junior. It really feels like these past 2 and a half years of college have literally flown by. Now I know why all the grown-ups say "Stay in school as long as you can....In a few years, you'll wish you were back there."
But anyway....good luck to everyone on exams! See ya'll next year in '05!!!
| This past week was actually pretty good. I didn't have a lot of homework or studying to do, which was really nice....and I had a great weekend! Thanks to a certain someone special I don't think I've smiled this much or been this happy in a while.
I'm going home in 2 days for Thanksgiving and I'm really excited about it! Some family is coming up from FL and they're picking me up on their way to Charlotte. I can't wait to eat Thanksgiving dinner, I know it's gonna be SO good. LOL! And what I'm really excited about is going to see the Polar Express!! I know, ya'll probably think I'm just a big loser...but it's a really good Christmas book, I promise! Then there's always the annual Thanksgiving Day parade, can't forget about that. I just kinda wish it was a little colder outside cuz this weather just isn't putting me in the holiday spirit.
But...gotta get back to some homework. Hope everyone has a great Turkey Day!
